Frindle by Andrew Clements
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Frindle is a classic Andrew Clements book. If you have read any of his other books, you will understand what I mean. It shows the power humans have to change the English language. I feel like back when this book was published, changes to the dictionary seemed like a novel idea, now it seems like a common occurrence.
This book contains memorable characters and hilarious situations. I gave it two stars because I'm an adult, and this book does not transfer into adult reading. For elementary age children, this is a recommended read.
